Cement patio contractors — New Braunfels, TX

Patio paver installation in New Braunfels begins with meticulous site preparation, including excavation to the required depth and establishing proper drainage slopes away from structures. A compacted sub-base of granular material, such as crushed stone, is then laid to provide a stable foundation. A bedding layer of sand or fine aggregate is spread over the sub-base, onto which the concrete pavers are carefully laid and interlocked. Edge restraints are installed to maintain paver alignment. Finally, polymeric sand is swept into the joints and activated, creating a rigid, weed-resistant surface that withstands our local environmental conditions.

When looking for concrete companies near you in New Braunfels, prioritize those who demonstrate a deep understanding of our local climate and soil conditions. They should be able to detail their concrete mix designs, including the use of admixtures that enhance durability and workability in our hot weather. Inquire about their experience with proper sub-base preparation and drainage solutions, which are crucial for preventing issues like cracking and settling. A reputable company will clearly outline their process for finishing and curing, ensuring the longevity of your project.
