Cement contractors near me — Rochester, NY

Cement driveway contractors in Rochester approach new installations by first assessing the site for proper drainage and excavation needs. They meticulously install formwork to establish the driveway's dimensions and ensure the sub-base is adequately compacted with appropriate aggregate materials for stability. The concrete mix is selected for its strength and resistance to local weather conditions, often including air-entrainment. After pouring and screeding the concrete, skilled finishers apply the desired texture, such as a broom finish for traction. Expansion joints are then strategically placed to manage thermal movement and prevent cracking, ensuring a durable surface.
